The Mouth is part of the Tongue & Tooth family and features Ray Pereira and Julien Wilson. As Juan Carlos Allende lives in NSW and is not available for some performances, Ray and Julien decided to form an alternative version of the band that would also use some of Melbourne’s premier emerging musicians. Drummer Quinn Knight, Guitarist Robbie Belchamber and Bass Players Sam Anning, Nelson Bek and Ashleigh Howell join Ray and Julien to form this version of the Tongue and Tooth Collective. where rare Afro Cuban, Sri Lankan and African grooves provide the rhythmic bed for harmony, melody and improvisation of Julien on Sax and Robbie on Guitar. The group plays regularly at Bar Oussou in Melbourne and has built up a solid following of music lovers.
